Fight the good fight - kill off Political Correctness

Well I hope that after reading through the topics on this site, you are as heartily sick of Political Correctness as I am. If not, then please read it all again and perhaps this time get someone to help you come to terms with some of the more difficult concepts - like common sense!

You should now realise that Political Correctness is not only a self defeating tyranny and a sort social dementia, it is an insidious attack on free thinking, truth and free speech by a self appointed extreme left vociferous minority.

The need for free thought and speech in a society is very important. Anxieties and suspicions inevitably occur and these give rise to accumulating resentment until they are expressed by word or deed. If people are prevented from discussing subjects that worry them (perhaps by having the word 'racist' shouted at them) then resentment builds up and may find its release in violence. Thus in most cases, political correctness is self defeating - it makes the very situation it seeks to prevent actually much worse. Several examples of this are elsewhere on this site.

The need for free speech and thought cannot be over empathised. The PC Brigade will tell you that you are offending 'victims' or encouraging 'hate'. Don't fall for this - their real reason is to control you and stop you identifying common sense that may expose the weaknesses in their dogma. Free speech is the only way we have of judging people's opinions and ideas. If the BNP were prevented from speaking as they do then we would never know what their real aims were! Very dangerous!

You would think that the Conservative Party would be the ones to fight all this nonsense, yet their voices are quiet. The PC Brigade have them on the run, they are so frightened of being branded as racist. This was shown so clearly by Michael Howard when he took his cowardly stand against Ann Winterton for making "racist" remarks about the Morecombe Bay cocklers. The Conservative Party have lost the plot completely which is one of the reasons why nobody votes for them anymore. Unfortunately, there is no other sensible party to take their place!

We need a government strong enough to repeal or drastically modify the legislation on which most of this politically correct nonsense has its ultimate power base - the Human Rights Act, some parts of Employment and Health & Safety law and the Police & Criminal Evidence Act. And of course to withdraw from the EU, where much of this nonsense comes from.

Much of it though is not actually written in law but relies on the ever increasing number of Quangos which run this country unelected. All the PC Brigade has to do is to intimidate the politicians and other decision makers that sit on them or better still to make sure that politically correct members are appointed. The whole charade is costing the country an absolute fortune and tying us all up in knots while the only people that gain out of it are the wrong-doers.

So what can we all do individually to exterminate this menace to us all?

1) Play them at their own game. This means being as vociferous as they are. (Yes I know you don't like making a fuss but silly minorities rely on that one fact more than anything else.) When you see some mindless act of political correctness, contact the perpetrators, contact your MP or local councilor, contact the press or tv. Put your point of view. Explain how Political Correctness is ruining our country. You have a plethora of means of communication at your disposal. Use them. This way you leave the politicians and the media in no doubt what the majority of the country really think. In fact don't just wait around for that mindless act to happen - contact them NOW!

2) Join the Campaign Against Political Correctness. This is the national coordinating body in the fight. You can sign the petition and get hold of some literature which you can use to start a campaign locally. Be brave - Political Correctness is so insidious that it just bypasses most people. But when brought to their attention, I have never found anyone that didn't say something like "Oh yes, I've seen a few bits in the papers about the silly things they say but they're only a small band of nutters, aren't they?" "Indeed they are" I reply "but they seem to have the ear and the hand of government!" They are a small minority - normal people are the large majority - let's get organised and make the voice of reason heard! You can take comfort from the recent poll conducted by the Campaign Against Political Correctness which showed that 80% of people said they were fed up with political correctness. (16% said they weren't and 4% refused to answer)
